Lead Occupational Therapist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients' performance components affecting their participation in self-care, work, and leisure activities. They will formulate appropriate treatment plans and goals within the inpatient stay and re-evaluate and modify the treatment plan as required.
The Occupational Therapist will work with multi-disciplinary teams, attending weekly case management meetings, participating in discharge planning in consultation with the patients, their families, and other external agencies involved.
They will maintain accurate and timely patient records by documenting in patients' medical case notes after attending to the patients.
The Occupational Therapist will also instruct and supervise occupational therapists and/or Therapy Aides in occupational therapy interventions for patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:We are looking for candidates with a degree in Occupational Therapy, recognized by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC). Post-graduate qualification or certification in treatment techniques is an advantage.
Candidates should be registered with the Singapore AHPC with valid practicing certificate and have at least 3 - 5 years of working experience in the relevant field.
Experience in a geriatric community hospital, long term care or nursing home setting will be an advantage.
Mature mid career individuals with the required qualification are welcome to apply.
