Job Title: IoT Cloud Intern

We are seeking an exceptional IoT Cloud Intern to join our team and contribute to the development of IoT products and solutions for our energy-storage devices and smart grid. As an IoT Cloud Intern, you will work on interfacing sensors with edge devices, data communication over various protocols, and collaborating with our back-end software team to achieve hardware-software interface.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and understand project specifications for industrial applications.
  • Program IoT firmware in Python, Arduino, and Embedded C.
  • Work on modern communication technologies, including WiFi, 4G, BLE, NB-IoT, and LoRaWAN.
  • Test, debug, document, and troubleshoot IoT firmware and embedded systems.
  • Coordinate with the back-end software team to achieve hardware-software interface over HTTP and MQTT.
  • Electronic product design and certification of the end-product.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Embedded Systems firmware/software development.
  • Good knowledge of IoT sensors, PCB design, hardware design, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with interfacing various on-chip and off-chip peripherals.
  • Familiar with wiring and interfacing protocols, such as RS232 and RS485.
  • Aware of IoT standards and communication protocols, including MQTT and HTTPs.
  • Experience in prototyping boards, such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
  • Ability to work independently or in a group and take up project-driven responsibilities.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
