About This Role:

This is a dynamic position within the Global Financial Crimes team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the identification, escalation, and timely mitigation of financial crime, compliance, and operational risks. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze impacts from changes to laws, rules, and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial crimes and regulatory requirements, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. They will be responsible for evaluating the risk of assigned issues, proposals, escalations, and regulatory changes, forming sound judgments, and making recommendations as to next steps.

Additionally, they will oversee the execution of monitoring and testing routines, identify areas of emerging risk, and escalate accordingly. The role requires a high degree of autonomy, discretion, and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of the financial crimes program by analyzing impacts from changes to laws, rules, and regulations.">
  • Evaluate the risk of assigned issues, proposals, escalations, and regulatory changes, forming sound judgments and making recommendations.">
  • Oversee the execution of monitoring and testing routines, identifying areas of emerging risk and escalating accordingly.">
  • Conduct research on financial crimes-related processes and communicate findings to stakeholders.">

Requirements:

  • University/college degree or equivalent working experience in banks, non-bank financial institutions, or regulators with financial crime experience.">
  • Stakeholder engagement, across all working levels, including senior management.">
  • Regulatory compliance, monitoring, surveillance, and testing.">
  • Critical thinking, risk management, issue management, policies, procedures, and guidelines management.">
  • Written communications, reporting.">
