Robotics Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Robotics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our robotics development team, you will play a crucial role in the design, manufacture, assembly, testing, and commissioning of autonomous robots.

Job Description:

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, computer science, or equivalent. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing robots based on pre-identified requirements, preparing engineering drawings, and communicating with machinists for parts machining.

  • Design and develop cutting-edge robotics technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering drawings and SOPs.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions for robot end-users.
  • Manage procurement procedures for parts purchasing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in 3D design tools (e.g. Solidworks), FEA tools, and schematic drawing tools (e.g. AutoCAD).
  • Experience in Linux OS, C/C++, and Python. Preferably experienced in Robot Operating System (ROS). Familiar with robotics perception, LiDAR, object tracking, motion planning, machine learning, sensor fusion, and system engineering.
  • Experience in mechanical/electrical/system assembly and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in handling and interfacing PLCs, industrial PCs, and various devices (motors, flowmeters, pumps, heaters).
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site.
