Job Title: Packing Operations Specialist

 

The operations department is responsible for designing and managing products, services, and processes. As a Packing Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in preparing shippable items by packaging, sealing, labeling, and ensuring they are ready for transportation. On-the-job training will be provided.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Packing and labeling pastry, savory, and bakery products to meet schedule and product specifications.
  • Maintaining consistent quality in packing and labeling products.
  • Ensuring proper storage and handling of products.
  • Picking and dispatching products according to customers' orders.
  • Executing duties as tasked by reporting officers in the department.
  • Observing and adhering to highest safety, sanitary, and hygiene standards in the production area.
  • Complying with ISO 22000, AVA, and other local food authorities' requirements.
  • Performing or assisting with administrative activities related to production planning and ISO 22000/SAP production documentation.
  • Ensuring proper and safe use of all equipment and work areas.

 

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Exposure in packing, labeling, and/or dispatching western pastry, savory, and bakery products on a large scale.
  • Familiarization with ISO 22000 Food Quality Control System.
  • Knowledge in running relevant equipment as necessary.
