Equipment Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with a focus on equipment design, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting projects related to jacket flooding systems and valves.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing client needs to understand design requirements, using CAD software to create design drafts, listing necessary materials, comparing with current stock, and managing inventory reports for project implementation. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for testing, diagnosing issues with, and fixing equipment or products manually, as well as managing the submission of documents to clients.
- Focus on equipment design, hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting projects related to jacket flooding systems and valves
- Assess the client's needs to understand design requirements
- Use CAD software to create design drafts (such as P&ID and GA drawings)
- List necessary materials, compare with current stock, and manage inventory reports for project implementation
- Test, diagnose issues with, and fix equipment or products manually
- Manage the submission of documents to clients
For this role, we require:
- A Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant advanced qualification
- Minimum 1-2 years of mechanical engineering experience in the O&G industry
- Skilled in using AutoCAD for drafting and competent with Microsoft Office
