Job Description

This role is a key part of our production operations team. As a Manufacturing Process Specialist, you will be responsible for performing tasks associated with all manufacturing operations, including setup, calibration, rework, and quality testing for parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.

You will utilize advanced software programs to collect and analyze operating data for on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Your collaboration with engineers will be crucial in determining and developing methods and procedures to optimize and control manufacturing processes.

Your work will involve conducting experiments and implementing process improvements, as well as participating in abnormality detection to identify and resolve issues in production processes promptly. You will drive improvements in production yield, scrap reduction, and Out-of-Box Quality (OBQ) performance.

To achieve these goals, you will contribute Kaizen ideas and actively engage in Small Group Activities (SGA) to support continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will participate in 5S activities to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum GCE O-Level qualification
  • 2 years of relevant experience in an assembly environment
  • Hands-on experience with sub-assemblies, soldering, and handling chemical solutions
  • Able to manage chemical solutions effectively during the cleaning process
  • Flexibility to work shift hours on regular workdays and willingness to travel for overseas training
