Drafter and Quality Specialist Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing 2D/3D concept, schematic, detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software. Your meticulous attention to detail and exceptional technical skills will ensure that all drawings are accurate and complete.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Meticulously prepare and check all drawings before submission.
  2. Maintain, update, and edit drawing sets according to feedback from consultants or clients.
  3. Update and maintain drawings logs and relevant documents in the server.
  4. Evaluate dimensions of fitments, fixtures, materials, and equipment drawn to ensure they fit and provide feedback on any mismatches.
  5. Liaise with designers and other stakeholders to capture approved design changes.
  6. Assist in overseeing projects from start to finish.
  7. Generate proper and professional paper works related to running projects, such as schedules, progress updates, BOQs, material lists, etc., and file them in the server.
  8. Ensure construction activities progress according to site schedules and design intentions.
  9. Communicate effectively with contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
  10. Monitor the progress of construction activities regularly and hold regular status meetings with sub-teams.
  11. Serve as a link between clients and project managers.
  12. Review deliverables prepared by teams.
  13. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or project managers.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess a Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity awarded by BCA Academy.
