Visual Storyteller Wanted

Mighty Velo - The Folding Bike Specialist is seeking a talented Visual Storytelling Artist to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that showcases our brand and products in an engaging and visually appealing way. You will conceptualize and plan video content that highlights our unique selling points and resonates with our target audience.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Conceptualizing and planning video content that showcases our brand and products in an engaging and visually appealing way.
  2. Editing footage into compelling content that is fun, dynamic, but also sophisticated.
  3. Managing multiple edits/projects at a time while meeting tight deadlines.
  4. Updating, writing, and scheduling posts on our social media accounts.
  5. Operating professional streaming equipment for live broadcasts on Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A diploma/degree in video production/mass communications, multimedia or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience in video production.
  • A good understanding of lighting, camera tech, and audio set-up.
  • The ability to edit in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience with After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom is a plus.
  • A working knowledge and understanding of social media and digital video platforms.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work effectively within deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in outdoor and indoor environments.
  • A strong team player with a great sense of humor and a positive attitude.
