Medical Device Technology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to execute critical administrative and operational activities for Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) medical devices at one of our institutions. This role involves coordinating cybersecurity strategies, analyzing information to facilitate management decisions, and preparing reports for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute administrative and operational activities for IoMT medical devices.
  • Coordinate and support cybersecurity strategies.
  • Analyze information to facilitate management decisions.
  • Prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Work with Biomedical Engineering shared services and IT security teams to ensure a robust risk management framework is in place for medical devices connected to the IT network.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 6 years of relevant working experience in IT, Operations and Risk Management with medical devices/systems understanding.
  • Good understanding of both IT and BME processes/operations and the relationship between them.
  • Good working knowledge of best practices in mitigating security risks for IoMT medical devices/systems.
  • Experience in healthcare facilities projects and/or government projects.
  • Possess strong communication, administrative, organizational, and management skills.
  • Reliable team player, independent, and committed.
