Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for executing maintenance work on instrumentation and control systems in the power plant effectively, efficiently, and to comply with safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and rectification of equipment failure and malfunction. Test and recommissioning of rectified system or equipment.
  • Conduct overhaul, inspection, calibration, servicing program during plant scheduled outage.
  • Implement modification, upgrading, and installation plans for plant system and equipment for enhancement, availability, and reliability improvement.
  • Maintain detailed work reports, spreadsheets, graphs, plots on computer-based software.
  • Assist engineers and technical officers in the maintenance work.
  • Supervise contractors under their charge.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Nitec/Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Possesses knowledge of Instrumentation.
  • Preferably possesses 2 years of experience in Power Plant or Oil and Gas industry.
  • Self-driven, with a good working attitude and a good team player.
  • Available on standby after office hours for emergency calls.
  • Has a safety mindset and displays good workplace safety behavior.
  • Part of the CERT team and actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.
