Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Team Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of mechanical contractors in performing all plant maintenance, modification, and construction activities.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification and at least 2 years of relevant work experience in maintaining mechanical facilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of mechanical contractors to ensure timely completion of work without disruption to plant operations.
  • Coodinating with plant operators and other maintenance groups in the execution of plant maintenance and modifications works, prioritizing safety and facility integrity.
  • Conducting technical studies and modifying plant facilities according to technical specifications and business requirements.
  • Investigating plant equipment troubles, evaluating findings, and recommending countermeasures to prevent similar problems from recurring.
  • Developing and implementing training programs for staff and contractors to enhance their skill and competency levels.
  • Responding to plant emergency calls and resolving mechanical issues within tight schedules.

A successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have basic knowledge in SAP applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication with staff across different functions and contractors, and a collaborative spirit are essential prerequisites.
