Job Title: Strategic Communications Professional

Description:

A highly skilled and experienced professional is sought after to manage the image and reputation of an organization. This role involves overseeing internal and external communications at a strategic level, partnering with senior management and business teams to deliver high-quality content that supports organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Relations:
    • Develop annual and long-term media engagement plans to increase visibility and credibility.
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with key media outlets and industry experts.
    • Pitch and secure meaningful media coverage through strategic storytelling.
    • Maintain a comprehensive media kit to showcase the organization's messaging and branding.
    • Train and coach media spokespeople on crisis communication and media relations best practices.
    • Monitor and report on media outreach strategies and their impact on organizational reputation.
  • Content Creation & Distribution:
    • Develop engaging content across external and internal platforms to educate and inform stakeholders.
    • Lead corporate marketing materials development, ensuring consistency and quality.
    • Track and measure content effectiveness through metrics and analytics.
  • Brand Management:
    • Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels, including visual identity and tone of voice.
    • Maintain and update brand guidelines to ensure seamless execution.
    • Monitor and report on brand perception through market research and feedback.
  • Operational Support:
    • Develop and manage a media library to streamline research and reference.
    • Conduct daily news monitoring to stay informed about industry trends and developments.
    • Support publicity and communications for campaigns and events to amplify impact.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications, media relations, or public affairs.
  • Strong network and established media contacts to leverage partnerships and opportunities.
  • Familiarity with social media, design, photography, and videography to enhance storytelling capabilities.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex ideas.
  • Confident public speaker and team player to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
