We are seeking a seasoned Senior Compliance Professional to join our team at STARLINK FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD.

Job Description:

A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Compliance Professional to lead our compliance function in the e-commerce and payments space. Reporting directly to the management, this key role is responsible for ensuring that our company operates within the confines of all relevant laws and regulations in Singapore, specifically those governed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a major payment institution.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in the financial services industry. Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, will be essential for effective collaboration with stakeholders, including regulators, senior management, and other teams within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust compliance program aligned with MAS requirements, addressing areas such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), Know-Your-Customer (KYC), and other relevant risk areas.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends, changes in legislation, and updates from the MAS, translating these into actionable strategies and initiatives to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Lead audits, risk assessments, and ad-hoc reviews to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement within the company's processes and systems.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments, including operations, risk, and business development, to ensure seamless integration of compliance considerations into business decisions and product development.
  • Design, deliver, and manage training programs on compliance-related topics for all employees to foster a culture of compliance awareness throughout the organization.
Requirements:

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably with a focus on law, finance, or international relations.
  • No less than 3 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial services sector, preferably with expertise in AML/CFT, KYC, and regulatory affairs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in regulatory environments and reporting, including knowledge of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels within an organization.
