Job Title: Aviation Tool Store Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Airport Tool Store Maintenance Professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a well-organized and efficient tool store environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored in their designated areas.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of stock by monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, preventing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality, extending their lifespan and reducing downtime.
  • Identify and report any issues or defects with tools or equipment in a prompt manner, minimizing delays and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients, responding promptly to their queries and resolving issues efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • National Technical Award (NTA) or equivalent in logistics or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of working experience related to toolstores, preferably in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and record-keeping.
  • Familiarity with SAP is an added advantage, enabling seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Possession of a valid Light Transport Vehicle (LTV) driving license or Forklift Operator certification is preferred, enhancing mobility and efficiency.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, ensuring 24/7 coverage.
