About Our Team

We are a leading software development organization dedicated to ensuring the security and reliability of our platforms, including iOS software, iOS devices, and Mac.

As a system reliability engineer, you will play a key role in deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and developing tools for all teams' solutions. You will have experience in being a systems administrator or programmer who has transitioned to DevOps/Automation in their career.

You will configure, tune, and optimize multi-tiered systems to achieve optimal application performance, stability, and availability. You will collaborate closely with systems engineers, network engineers, database administrators, monitoring teams, and information security teams.

This role requires a blend of strategic engineering and design along with hands-on, technical work. We are seeking a skilled individual who can excel in a dynamic environment, be self-motivated, and bring their passion to ensure quality and reliability of the solutions we maintain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review hardware, software infrastructure, and application functionality for optimization opportunities.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
  • Responsible for the full system lifecycle, including configuration, code deployment in user acceptance test and production environments.
  • Monitor infrastructure and application services and drive incident management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure availability and reliability of solutions.

Requirements:

  • Strong Unix or Linux administration and performance tuning skills, with 0 ~ 5 years of experience leading services in a large-scale *nix environment.
  • Proficiency in Java and JVM technologies runtime configurations and troubleshooting, or expertise in Python/Go/other scripting languages.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, processes, and culture.
  • Validated experience with Automation skills using Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, Puppet.
