Job Opportunity:

Senior Designer – Visual Communications

This is a key role for a skilled and creative designer to lead our team's visual communications efforts.

  • Conceptualise and produce graphic artwork based on requirements/specifications
  • Develop and execute ideas from concept stage to final artwork for production
  • Work closely with team members and other design teams on implementation of concept and designs
  • Oversee work rendered from colour proof/mock-up to production and application
  • Assist in overseeing and managing junior designers' works
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with fellow creatives in the studio
  • Conduct quality checks on-site to ensure installation of artwork are accurate, up to standard and according to specifications

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Designer will be responsible for leading our team's visual communications efforts. This includes conceptualising and producing graphic artwork based on requirements/specifications, developing and executing ideas from concept stage to final artwork for production, working closely with team members and other design teams on implementation of concept and designs, overseeing work rendered from colour proof/mock-up to production and application, assisting in overseeing and managing junior designers' works, participating in brainstorming sessions with fellow creatives in the studio, and conducting quality checks on-site to ensure installation of artwork are accurate, up to standard and according to specifications.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in graphic design or visual communications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in graphic design, creative agencies
  • Good command in English (spoken/written)
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office software
  • Good flair in visual design with an eye for detail and strong ability to create a variety of design styles
  • Driven and positive work attitude, confident
  • Organised and constructive team player
  • Ability to manage challenging situations, meet tight deadlines and competing demands and priorities
  • Ability to work well with other teams (including sales and operations)
