About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance and Repair Specialist to join our team at THE LEGENDS FORT CANNING PARK PTE. LTD. as a M&E Technician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and efficient maintenance and repair services for our property, ensuring that all building services are functioning properly and safely.
  • Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance checks to identify and address any issues before they become major problems.
  • Ensure the timely completion of services and repairs to mechanical and electrical equipment, minimizing downtime and disruptions to our operations.
  • Assist in all internal maintenance and liaise with departments requiring technical support and assistance, providing expert advice and guidance as needed.
  • Maintain an adequate stock of spare parts and materials to ensure that repairs can be completed quickly and efficiently.
  • Perform small renovation jobs such as painting and carpeting, as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety rules and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
  • Monitor and record utility consumption, assisting in the implementation of our Energy Conservation Programme to reduce our environmental impact.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards for our property, maintaining a clean and healthy environment for all users.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned by the Facility Manager or Management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate / NTC 3 / NiTEC / Higher NiTEC in Engineering (Electrical / Industrial / Mechanical / Building and Facilities) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services.
  • Strong knowledge of Building M&E services and basic knowledge of building repairs, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Basic written and spoken knowledge of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Pro-active attitude and service-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Able to work shift hours, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
  • Fully COVID-19 vaccinated, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
