Job Title: Cloud Solution Designer and Technical Leader

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Designer and Technical Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and delivering complex cloud-based solutions using Java, HTML/Javascript, ReactJS or other relevant technology stack.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system architecture, software development, and leadership. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and delivering complex cloud-based applications. They will also have expertise in one or more of the following database servers: Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, MySQL. Additionally, they will have knowledge of open-source frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate.

Achievements in cloud native architecture with Microservices, Docker, Docker Swarm / Kubernetes, CI / CD, Domain Driven Design (DDD), API Design will be considered as valuable assets for this role. Experience in offshore development is also a plus. Candidates who are willing to travel will be considered for overseas assignments.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology related field. A proven track record of success in similar roles, along with a passion for innovation and collaboration, are essential qualities for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine and confirm client business expectations and needs
  • Understand the client's requirements and design the infrastructure and system architecture to support the cloud native solution
  • Convert system requirements into software architecture and design documentation
  • Work with Project Manager and customers to manage resources, scope, and schedule
  • Interface and coordinate tasks with Module Leaders to ensure all modules within the system are progressing as planned
  • Lead the development team to develop and implement the proposed cloud native application
  • Mentor junior technical staff

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and delivering complex cloud-based applications
  • Expertise in one or more of the following database servers: Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, MySQL
  • Knowledge of open-source frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate
  • Achievements in cloud native architecture with Microservices, Docker, Docker Swarm / Kubernetes, CI / CD, Domain Driven Design (DDD), API Design
  • Experience in offshore development
  • Willingness to travel for overseas assignments
