Physiotherapy Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to fill the position of Physiotherapy Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, ensuring the highest standard of care.
  • Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities with patients under the supervision of a physiotherapist, promoting recovery and well-being.
  • Apply modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation, maintaining patient safety and comfort.
  • Guide and educate patients on proper exercise techniques and home care programs, empowering them to take control of their health.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment, ensuring an efficient environment.
  • Monitor and record patient progress, reporting to the supervising physiotherapist to inform treatment decisions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, fostering a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in the delivery of physiotherapy services, upholding the reputation of the organization.
Requirements:
  • A diploma or degree in Physiotherapy or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
  • Relevant experience in assisting physiotherapy treatments is preferred, showcasing adaptability and a willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of physiotherapy techniques, exercise protocols, and modalities, ensuring the ability to apply evidence-based practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, promoting a culture of mutual respect and open communication.
  • Empathy and dedication towards patient care, driving a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
