Position

Service Technician (Marine Boilers Experience Preferred)

  • Location: Tagore Lane/Client Site
  • Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm
Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Commission, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot marine electrical and mechanical equipment on vessels and at company premises/workshops.
  2. Travel to vessels within the region and occasionally worldwide on short notice.
  3. Ensure valid travel documentation is maintained.
  4. Adhere to customer QHSE procedures; report unsafe practices or incidents.
  5. Complete Service Certificates (time sheets) and obtain customer sign-off.
  6. Prepare detailed Service Reports, including safety observations, spare part recommendations, and future service suggestions.
  7. Proactively recommend spare parts and service solutions to customers.
  8. Communicate sales opportunities to Service Managers.
  9. Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients.
  10. Perform other ad-hoc activities assigned by management.
Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with marine boilers and related systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge in marine electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Valid travel documents and certifications for international travel.
