  • Identify, Assess, and Manage Emerging Risks

The Operational Risk Manager will identify, assess, closely monitor, and proactively manage emerging risks for IBGO, with a focus on key risk areas that impact IBGO such as Risk Events, Audit & Unit Self-identified issues, Residual Risks, UDMA, MJE reductions, contract renewals, fraud, and GLAO certification in forums.

Oversee and Perform Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Testing

The Operational Risk Manager will oversee and perform RCSA Testing on the PURE framework and lead deep dives on RCSA enhancements.

Monitor and Prepare Forum Materials

The Operational Risk Manager will monitor and prepare forum materials for IBGO management, review and report risk metrics, ensure data accuracy, completeness, and IBGO actions are addressed in a timely manner.

Represent IBGO at Risk Forums

The Operational Risk Manager will represent IBGO at risk forums and explain risk initiatives to stakeholders.

Represent RRC at GenAI Forums

The Operational Risk Manager will represent RRC at GenAI forums, review GenAI risk guardrails, and provide risk advisory and support to use case owners on GenAI initiatives.

Provide Risk & Control Advisory

The Operational Risk Manager will provide risk & control advisory to line managers/location risk managers on control lapses and deep dive into root cause analysis, highlight adverse trends for action, and standardize best control practices across locations.

Manage Regional Risk & Control Initiatives

The Operational Risk Manager will manage regional risk & control initiatives for IBGO globally.

Participate in IBGO Risk Forum

The Operational Risk Manager will participate actively in the IBGO Risk Forum to effectively communicate key risk initiatives and control topics to location IBGO heads and risk managers.

Raise Staff Awareness on Risk & Control

The Operational Risk Manager will raise staff awareness on risk & control and provide trainings where required.

Requirements
