Unlock Communication Potential

We are seeking an exceptional Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in transforming the lives of individuals with autism by unlocking their communication potential.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement effective intervention programs for students with autism to enhance their language, literacy, and communication skills.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths and weaknesses, and develop tailored plans to support individual student needs.

  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other professionals to provide cohesive support and promote positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Report Writing: Conduct thorough assessments and write comprehensive reports to inform direct intervention planning and exam access.

  • Intervention: Plan and deliver 1:1 and small group direct interventions on language, communication, and literacy goals.

  • Program Development: Participate in curriculum/program development projects and contribute to the creation of innovative and effective programs that support student learning.

  • Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior SLTs to support their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) is essential.

  • A strong passion for working with individuals with autism and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
