**Job Description**

We invite applications for the position of Research Fellow at NTU's College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS).

As a Research Fellow, you will independently undertake research in data privacy, machine learning, and applied cryptography.

You will produce research papers and reports as required by the funding body or for dissemination to the wider academic community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To independently undertake research in data privacy, machine learning, and applied cryptography.
  • To produce research papers and reports as required by the funding body or for dissemination to the wider academic community.
  • To provide guidance and support to students associated with the project.
  • To attend, contribute, and where necessary lead relevant meetings.
  • To undertake any other duties relevant to the programme of research.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent is required.

You must be an independent, highly analytical, proactive, and team player with excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills.

A proven research ability as evidenced through a portfolio of publications and/or conference papers and/or patents is essential.

In-depth knowledge relevant to the project domain is also required.

Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research, adapt novel ideas, formulate hypothesis, design effective experimental plans, oversee and report project progress are all crucial aspects of this role.
