Fixed asset accounting and reporting must be completed accurately and on time. Capital expenditure (CAPEX) accruals and the reconciliation of sub-ledger to general ledger must be managed efficiently. Annual fixed asset sighting must be completed successfully. Identification of qualifying or non-qualifying assets for tax purposes must be maximized to achieve optimal capital allowances.
