Captivating Storyteller and Community Champion

About the Role:

We are seeking a charismatic and strategic professional to lead our external and internal communication efforts while overseeing charitable partnerships and community initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to strengthen our corporate brand and reputation.
  • Manage media relations, draft press releases, and prepare key messaging for leadership.
  • Oversee internal communications, including leadership messages, staff engagement campaigns, and intranet/employee updates.
  • Craft speeches, presentations, and talking points for senior executives.
  • Monitor industry trends and media coverage; provide timely reports and recommendations.
  • Manage crisis communication planning and response.
  • Ensure all communications are consistent, clear, and aligned with our values.

Charities & Community Engagement:

  • Plan, manage, and execute corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, employee volunteerism programs, and charity events.
  • Evaluate potential charity partners to ensure alignment with our values and objectives.
  • Develop storytelling content to showcase the impact of charitable initiatives internally and externally.
  • Track, measure, and report on the impact of CSR activities.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or CSR roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
  • Passion for community engagement and social impact.
  • Collaborative team player with a high degree of initiative.
  • Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity when working with diverse partners.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior leadership, media, and external partners.
  • Great stakeholder management, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Experience working with charity organizations, foundations, or community partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
