Piano Instructor

As a skilled Piano Instructor, you will work closely with students to understand their goals and objectives. This will involve discussing lesson details before committing to a plan.

Each lesson will be structured based on the student's preferences and goals. You will provide them with appropriate materials and resources, ensuring they have everything needed to succeed.

Attending scheduled practice sessions, recitals, competitions, and other events is crucial. You will also teach music theory and help students improve their sight-reading, memorization, and improvisation skills.

Using digital pianos and technology in lessons can enhance the learning experience. Recording lessons allows students to identify their mistakes and monitor progress.

Preparing students for exams, recitals, concerts, and other events requires patience, strong communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Providing constructive feedback and adjusting lessons as needed is vital for success.

Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Music and a teaching certificate. Strong musical ability and proven piano skills are essential. Previous experience as a music teacher is advantageous. Fluency in sight-reading, patience, and strong motivational skills are also necessary.
