About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at CONSAP PTE. LTD. as a key member of our software development team. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feature Ownership: Take complete end-to-end ownership of projects, analyzing, designing, and deploying software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Backend Development: Develop and deploy highly scalable and available backend solutions on cloud or on-premise infrastructure, utilizing best practices and automation tools.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and business teams to develop solutions that align with the product roadmap, incorporating feedback from subject matter experts to ensure maximal efficiency.
Technical Requirements
  • Education: Diploma, degree, master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 4+ years of working experience in best practices for the entire SDLC.
  • Technical Skills: Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns of high-scale web applications on cloud, including well-designed APIs, high-volume data pipelines, service-meshes, message queues, distributed caching, and efficient algorithms.
  • Containerization: Familiarity with container-based applications and orchestration tools (Docker and Kubernetes) for coding and debugging.
  • Testing and Deployment: Experience with writing unit and integration tests, monitoring code coverage, and delivering high-quality products as an individual contributor or part of a high-performing team.
  • DevOps: DevOps mindset for monitoring and deploying code with versioning tools and CI/CD.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a 'can-do' attitude, seeking to make a difference, and willing to work with an internationally distributed team.
Technical Stack
  • Programming Languages: NodeJS or.NET Core.
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL for RDBMS, MongoDB for NoSQL.
  • Orchestration Tools: Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Cloud Services: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, Digital Ocean, with experience working with S3, EKS, IAM, etc.
  • Message Queuing: Experience with message queuing (MQTT, Kafka, or RabbitMQ).
  • Version Control: Git.
