Childcare Assistant Job Opportunity

About the Position

  • We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to undertake childcare cleaning and cooking duties in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cook simple meals for children in our care using healthy ingredients and following safety guidelines.
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness, including washing dishes and equipment on a regular basis.

Daily Tasks and Expectations

  • Sweep and mop floors daily to ensure a clean and safe environment for children to play and learn.
  • Vacuum classroom floor, mop with disinfectant, clean tables, chairs, and equipment on a regular basis.
  • Restock toilets and hand wash basins as required to maintain a comfortable and hygienic atmosphere.
  • Empty waste and recyclables in disposal areas promptly to prevent any unpleasant odors or pests.

Essential Requirements

  • A Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate is essential for this role, demonstrating your commitment to providing a safe and healthy environment for children.
