Job Title: Vice President of Operations and Strategy

The Vice President of Operations and Strategy will oversee day-to-day operations, design strategy, and set goals for growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in planning and budgeting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement strategic plans
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
  • Direct the employee assessment process
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management
  • Maintain expense control and optimize costs
  • Set policies and procedures
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
  • Solve complex problems (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Requirements and Skills:
  • Proven experience as a senior executive or equivalent role
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Knowledge of business functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Japanese language skills a plus
