Job Overview

We seek a seasoned audit expert to drive strategic growth and excellence in our global internal audit function.

This leadership role will oversee the development and execution of risk-based audit plans, ensuring timely delivery and high standards across functions and regions.

You will lead and mentor a team of skilled professionals, guiding them through the audit lifecycle and fostering a culture of innovation and improvement.

About the Role

This position reports directly to the Group Head of Internal Audit, where you will play a critical role in assessing and improving governance, risk management, internal controls, and sustainability assurance.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver clear, concise reports with actionable recommendations to enhance operations and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute annual internal audit plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead risk-based audits across functions and regions, leveraging data analytics tools and modern audit techniques to assess risk exposure.
  • SUPERVISE AND COACH AUDIT TEAM MEMBERS THROUGH THE AUDIT LIFECYCLE.
  • Deliver high-quality reports with actionable recommendations to improve operations and mitigate risks.
  • Leverage expertise to drive process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Represent internal audit as a strategic advisor on governance, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Engage with senior leadership to communicate audit results and guide resolution efforts.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy, Business, IT (Information Systems) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant internal audit experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong internal control knowledge, risk awareness, and familiarity with ERP tools (e.g., SAP).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (to liaise with regional stakeholders).
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% annually, typically up to 3 weeks per trip.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset and project management capabilities.
