Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to lead our architectural team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and project direction of projects across the country, as well as supervising the preparation of specifications and tendering documentations.

  • Leading, mentoring and developing an architectural team
  • Supervising the preparation of specifications and tendering documentations
  • Creating and overseeing general design and project direction for projects across the country
  • Design development of existing projects and evaluation with specific details on benchmark / competitive / winning projects
  • Reviewing and approving conceptual and schematic design and detail working drawings
  • Supervising the construction process and resolving technical issues
  • Planning and supervising authority submission requirements and procedure for projects
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a recognized degree in Architecture, preferably registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore. You will also require minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant architectural experience, good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices, strong knowledge and understanding of project, material and cost management, proven knowledge in carpentry construction & technical detail drawings, excellent design presentation and human relation skills, good team leader skills and conversance with local codes and regulations.

  • A recognized Degree in Architecture, preferably registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant architectural experience
  • Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of project, material and cost management;
  • Proven knowledge in carpentry construction & technical detail drawings;
  • Excellent in design presentation and human relation skill;
  • Good team leader
  • Conversant with local codes and regulations
  • At least 1 year BIM project implementation experience with in-depth knowledge of REVIT architecture
