Job Role Summary:

The Prime Mover Driver is responsible for overseeing the timely collection and delivery of import/export shipments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collect and transport goods efficiently
  • Maintain effective communication with logistics teams through radio channels
  • Verify and manage documentation accurately
  • Endorse permits at customs checkpoints as required
  • Familiarize yourself with PSA Import/Export/Trucking protocols
  • Conduct regular vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness
  • Handle cargo items with care, inspecting and tallying them properly
  • Report any discrepancies or vehicle damage immediately
Essential Requirements:
  • Possess a valid Class 4/5 license
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Prime Mover driving
  • Familiarity with PSA Import/Export/Trucking procedures
  • Familiarity with container yard operations
