Job Title: QS cum Drafter

We are seeking a highly skilled QS cum Drafter to join our team at Talent Trader Group.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for interior projects. They will also perform quantity take-off and prepare cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for interior projects.
  • Quantity Take-Off: Perform quantity take-off and prepare cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Project Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate measurement and costing of project activities.
  • Value Engineering: Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
  • Project Budgeting: Manage and monitor project budgets and cash flows.
  • Claims and Variations: Prepare and submit claims and variations to clients and subcontractors.
  • Cost Reporting: Provide regular cost reports and updates to project management.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying for interior projects.
  • Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software. Good knowledge of interior design materials, methods, and costs. Familiarity with cost estimating and tendering processes. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
