The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and creating system architecture, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB boards for automation machines. They will also create electrical bills of materials, spare part lists, and installation instruction manuals.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and experience in electrical design, Eplan software, and PCB design. They will be proficient in simulation tools, such as Pspice/LTspice/TINA, and have excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-discipline engineering team, managing priorities, timelines, and resources effectively. They will also provide technical support and training on electrical systems of automation machines.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and create system architecture, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB boards for automation machines
  • Create electrical bills of materials, spare part lists, and installation instruction manuals
  • Perform machine system set up, IO check, and trouble-shooting of electrical systems
  • Perform circuit simulations/analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of circuit boards and embedded firmware
  • Manage all electrical materials, including PCB boards, according to machine production assembly schedules
  • Perform firmware and PLC code maintenance, bug fixing, and enhancement
  • Provide technical support and training on electrical systems of automation machines

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Diploma with minimal 2 years experience
  • Good knowledge of electrical design
  • Proficiency in Eplan software
  • Able to analyze project requirements, develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts
  • Experienced in design to conformity with safety, regulatory standards such as CE, UL, VDE, CSA, and SEMI-S2
  • Excellent in PCB design with analogue/digital circuit and lighting
  • Able to develop circuit boards with RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, USB, and Ethernet
  • Able to use simulation tools, such as Pspice/LTspice/TINA
  • Excellent in Microchip assembly and C/C++ programming languages
  • Good programming skill of PLC
  • Good soldering skill and electrical wiring harness skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues
  • Project management skills with ability to manage priorities, timelines, and resources effectively
  • Good in written and spoken English
  • Work as a team member in a multi-discipline engineering team
