Job Overview

The incumbent will work in close partnership with the Facility and Medical Director of Stem Cell Laboratory to lead our cutting-edge stem cell research facility.

Responsibilities include providing scientific leadership, strategic direction for the stem cell laboratory, and overseeing all aspects of laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide scientific leadership and strategic direction for the stem cell laboratory and GMP facility.
  • Oversee the processing, cryopreservation, and storage for clinical use in cell therapy and stem cell transplantation.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of processing for cell therapy and stem cell transplantation laboratory work.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of cell therapy products for patient treatment.
  • Supervise the evaluation and quality control of cell therapy products before release for clinical use.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in stem cell therapy work, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of cell biology, culture techniques, and applications.
