Lab Assistant Position

Job Title: Lab Assistant

Job Description:
  • Follow laboratory protocols and policies when checking specimens and ensuring the accuracy of names on request forms.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized lab environment, including equipment and supplies.
  • Obtain and prepare specimens for testing according to established guidelines.
  • Utilize barcoding technology to track and process specimens efficiently.
  • Register patients, retrieve results, and print reports using the lab information system.
  • Maintain an adequate stock level of supplies and distribute them accordingly.
  • Perform aliquoting tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum education level is a 'N/O/A' level or Diploma from any field.
  • No prior experience is necessary.

Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate their skills and qualifications during the interview process.
