Finance Intern Role

This internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance. The role involves assisting with financial tasks such as verifying employee claims, preparing journal entries, and reviewing stock movement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify and process employee claims and invoices based on company policy to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with month-end closing by preparing necessary journal entries and reviewing stock movement to maintain financial integrity.
  • Match invoices and purchase orders; prepare sales invoices and payment lists using our accounting system.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements to provide insights into our financial performance.
  • Contribute to Audit & Tax preparations by gathering and compiling relevant documents required by auditors.
  • Assist with GST filing and income tax preparation to ensure timely submissions and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a responsible attitude towards work.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of accounting systems such as SAP would be an asset.
  • Able to commit to the full duration of the internship.
  • Open to Singaporean candidates only.
