Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and document user requirements to ensure that business needs are met.
  • Assess the functional impact of changes to Finance applications and ensure that business requirements are met.
  • Review functional design and ensure that business requirements are met.
  • Responsible for end-to-end User Acceptance Testing activities, including defining test approach, preparing test scripts, and executing User Acceptance Test.
  • Transition project to production support teams with proper documentation and training.
  • Provide support in resolving post-implementation issues during the warranty period.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or equivalent professional certificates.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a project setting within the Banking/Financial Services Industry.
  • Proven business analysis skills, including experience in developing business requirements documents, test strategy, and test scripts for User Acceptance Test.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL.
  • Good understanding of Data Architecture, Data Mapping, and Data Warehousing.
  • Analytical and has aptitude for system-related work.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior work experience as a Business Analyst with experience gained in areas such as Regulatory Reporting, Basel 3, Trade Finance, and IFRS9.
  • Experience in functional business analysis/software testing focused on downstream systems.
  • Software testing (UAT) using SQL queries to pull data from the data warehouse.
  • Excel (Pivot Table, Vlookup, etc.) proficiency for organizing financial data pulled using SQL.
  • Experience in writing business requirement documentations and test strategy/test scripts.
  • Experience in Data Mapping (Data from Upstream systems transported into ETL Layer for processing and lastly to downstream system).
  • Data Warehousing and Architecture Concepts Knowledge.
