AI Generative Research Scientist

Our team works on developing cutting-edge methods for generative media models, focusing on culturally-adapted image and video synthesis.
Role OverviewResearch Scientists lead our efforts in creating novel tools, infrastructure, and algorithms to solve artificial general intelligence. This involves working with teams on large-scale AI development and designing solutions to fundamental questions in machine learning and AI.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement deep learning algorithms and data curation for multimodal generative AI.
- Report and present research findings internally and externally.
- Suggest and engage in team collaborations to meet ambitious research goals.
A PhD in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is required. 2+ years of relevant experience in deep learning research and development are also necessary. Experience with software development, particularly with Python and deep learning frameworks like Jax or TensorFlow, is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications- Demonstrated experience in large-scale training of multimodal generative models.
- A track record of research achievements, including publications in peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
Google will prioritize applicants with a current right to work in Singapore who do not require sponsorship of a visa.
