Driving Growth through Renewable Energy Investments

Inuka is partnering with a renowned global asset manager and operator based in Singapore. With operations spanning over 20 countries, they deliver innovative solutions to tackle critical global challenges such as the energy transition, urbanisation, and digital transformation. As part of their continued growth, they seek an experienced Investment Director (Private Equity) to join their Singapore team and contribute to their mission of driving impactful investments.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and execute private equity investment strategies focusing on renewable energy and infrastructure.
- Oversee all aspects of the deal lifecycle including sourcing, due diligence, valuation, structuring, and negotiation.
- Present investment opportunities and recommendations to the Investment Committee.
- Monitor and manage portfolio companies ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Develop value creation plans for portfolio companies to maximise returns.
- Participate in portfolio governance including attending board meetings and advising management teams.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging investment opportunities in renewable energy and infrastructure.
- BUILD strong relationships with key stakeholders including industry leaders, financial institutions, and government bodies.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the company's footprint in Asia-Pacific and other regions.
- Mentor junior team members fostering a high-performance team culture.
- A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related field with significant exposure to renewable energy investments.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and executing complex investment transactions.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering value in private equity portfolios.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- In-depth knowledge of renewable energy markets particularly in Asia-Pacific.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
