Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Vessel Accounting Specialist to join our team at MOL Chemical Tankers PTE. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of full spectrum of vessel accounting, undertaking marine accounting work, and providing support in preparing vessel expenses reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of full spectrum of vessel accounting, including AP, AR, and GL.
  • Undertake marine accounting work, creating invoices and providing support in preparing vessel expenses reports.
  • Review monthly expenses invoices to ensure costs are properly charged according to budget allocation.
  • Assist in preparing necessary documents for audit purposes.
  • Monitor and review procurement supplies from vessel managers.
  • Coordinate with vessel managers in preparation for contracts.
  • Assist with the preparation of marine insurance renewal and termination.
  • Process insurance invoices and maintain records.
  • Take minutes for ongoing project meetings.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting or Maritime Studies.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in vessel accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work multitask in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
  • Independent and meticulous with an eye for details.
  • Good team player with positive working attitude.
