Pet Care Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our sales team. As a Pet Care Sales Representative, you will play a key role in promoting our range of products and services to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations to customers
  • Perform cashiering duties, including handling cash transactions and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Receive and arrange stock on shelves, ensuring that products are accurately stocked and easily accessible to customers
  • Monitor expiry dates and shelf lives of products, rotating stock to ensure that older items are sold before they expire
  • Pack products according to customers' orders, ensuring that items are accurately packaged and prepared for delivery or collection
  • Maintain outlet cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies as needed
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management, such as assisting with inventory counts or participating in store displays

Requirements:

  • Able to work retail operational hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Able to handle carrying heavy loads (up to 10kg) with trolley assistance, ensuring safe and efficient movement of stock around the store
  • Willing to travel to off-site locations, such as trade shows or corporate events
  • Growth mindset with a can-do attitude, always looking for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and possess good problem-solving skills, able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve goals
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work effectively with colleagues, managers, and customers
