Site Construction Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Construction Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of various sites, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of experience in site construction, with excellent knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and methods of installation and construction. They will also possess strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work at heights and use power tools safely.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and materials needed
  • Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plywood, and other materials as per project requirements
  • Demonstrating knowledge of construction materials and techniques
  • Planning the layout of structures based on project design and specifications
  • Maintaining carpentry tools and equipment in good working order
  • Ensuring all work is carried out with precision and in line with safety regulations
  • Preparing job sites by clearing debris, setting up tools, and gathering materials
  • Cleaning up worksites after each job to maintain a safe and organized environment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a site construction specialist

Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials

Excellent understanding of construction techniques and methods of installation and construction

Ability to read technical documents and drawings

Technical Requirements:

Knowledge of construction materials, including wood, plywood, and other relevant materials

Understanding of carpentry techniques, including measurement, cutting, and shaping

Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures

Ability to work at heights and use power tools safely

Good communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work variable shifts and overtime as required

Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities

Self-motivation and ability to work independently

Organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver quality results
