Resident Architect Job Opportunity

This is a challenging role that requires a highly skilled and experienced Resident Architect to oversee architectural works on site. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design intent, specifications, and local regulations.

  • The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting regular site inspections and monitoring workmanship and materials used.
  • They will also coordinate with consultants, contractors, and REs/RTOs to resolve architectural or technical issues.
  • In addition, they will review and endorse architectural shop drawings, samples, and method statements.
  • Ensuring timely progress of architectural works and assisting in resolving site constraints or discrepancies are key responsibilities of this role.
  • Reporting site issues, non-compliances, and defects to the QP (Qualified Person) and project team is essential.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Architecture from a recognised institution.
  • Registration with the Board of Architects (BOA) Singapore.
  • Minimum 5 years of large scale project site supervision experience.
  • Strong knowledge of local codes (e.g., BCA, URA) and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
