We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Processing Officer at Singapore Post. As a key member of our mailroom operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing and delivery of mail and packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the scanning and sorting of mail and packages in the ICA scanning area, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Help to re-pack damaged mail and ensure that all items are properly labeled and organized.
  • Open and induct registered and Airsure bags, distributing articles appropriately and arranging foreign bags for processing.
  • Carry out local and foreign IC duties, including processing and despatching articles to the appropriate destinations.
  • Work collaboratively with the team leader to maintain accurate records and statistics, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Ensure the work area remains clean and tidy, adhering to high standards of housekeeping.
  • Assist in Kaizen projects and other initiatives as required, contributing to continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, supporting the team in achieving its goals.

Requirements:

  • Able to perform 3 Rotating Shifts (Morning, Afternoon, Night)
  • IT Savvy to complete tasks
  • Experienced in handling paperwork
