At SSMC, we are committed to delivering flexible and cost-effective semiconductor fabrication solutions. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of our diverse team in the Facilities Department, responsible for maintaining fully equipped SMIF cleanroom environments and 100% equipment automation.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Preventive Maintenance: Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities for chemical, slurry, and gas systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Total Gas and Chemical Management: Manage on-site contractors to ensure excellence in operations, maintenance, quality standards, and safety compliance.
  • Troubleshooting: Respond to issues and perform troubleshooting with the TGCM team, Bulk Gas Plant operations team, and contractors.
  • Root Cause Identification: Work with Manufacturing and Quality teams to identify, eliminate, and prevent excursion root causes.
  • System Capacity Management: Track system capacity to meet manufacturing requirements.
  • Improvement Projects: Initiate, evaluate, plan, design, and supervise improvement or upgrading projects for chemical, slurry, gas, and chemical waste systems.
  • Design and Planning: Include good design practice for state-of-the-art system designs, system capacity and capability analysis, planning for future requirements, and code compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in a team effort with other engineering, operations, maintenance, and construction disciplines to provide detailed designs and specifications for new capital equipment and systems.
  • New Technologies: Identify and implement new technologies for chemical, slurry, and gas systems to achieve process breakthroughs.
  • Cost Estimation: Carry out cost estimates, analysis, cost, and schedule estimates as well as justification of proposed projects.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline, and relevant working experience in Semiconductor, Petrochemical, or Pharmaceutical Industries, we encourage you to apply.
