Job Title: Vice President, Investment

Keppel Capital International Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Vice President, Investment. This is a key role in our Infrastructure team that focuses on investment activities in the regional market and managing the end-to-end investment process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Refine investment strategy for One Infrastructure, including terms, geography, and opportunity universe.
  • Analyze, originate, structure, negotiate, recommend, and close new deals, including due diligence and legal documentation, in accordance with the Investment Strategy mandated by the Investment Committee.
  • Monitor key markets to source suitable investment opportunities and recommend investment strategies to deliver superior long-term risk-adjusted returns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with investment partners, service providers, brokers, and other real estate market participants in targeted key markets.
  • Assist in generating market awareness of Keppel's investment mandate.
  • Plan and implement strategies around asset management and investment exits, including periodic reporting to investors.
  • Benchmark asset performance against the market to ensure investment return targets are achieved.
  • Provide assistance to other specialist groups within Keppel Fund Management and Investment when required.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior members within the team.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of relevant investment experience in fund management or corporate finance/M&A in investment banks or corporate principal investment teams, specializing in power, energy, and/or infrastructure.
  • Strong academic qualifications.
  • Proficient with market and industry research in infrastructure or other private equity assets.
  • Hands-on and detailed-oriented, with strong financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Independent and critical thinker with exceptional analytical ability.
  • Ability to make effective investment and asset management decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to interact well with different functions and levels.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Willing to travel frequently to key markets.
  • Driven and hungry for challenges.
  • Relentless energy, flexibility, and a gregarious personality.
