Job Description

NoVO Recruitment Solutions PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Chief Financial Strategist to join our team.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a seasoned financial expert with over 5 years of experience in finance, preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as experience with Singapore accounting standards or IFRS.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and establishing our financial management system, including chart of accounts, funding, and taxation.

They will promote deep integration of finance and business, providing support for company decision-making through data analysis and financial reporting.

The role also involves preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

The candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, they will collaborate with management to develop and manage the annual budget, monitor budget execution, and conduct variance analysis to identify areas for improvement or focus.

Financial Analysis

The Chief Financial Strategist will conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, investment opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.

They will identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial modeling and scenario analysis.

The role requires providing recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.

The candidate will establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

They will conduct regular reviews and audits to assess compliance with internal policies and procedures.

The role also involves implementing necessary corrective and improvement measures to strengthen internal controls.

Cash Management

The successful candidate will manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure sufficient funding for operational needs and strategic investments.

They will monitor banking activities, including reconciliations, deposits, and withdrawals.

The candidate will optimize cash management processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Possession of CPA, ACCA, or equivalent international accounting qualification.
  • Familiarity with Singapore accounting standards or IFRS.
  • Over 5 years of financial work experience, preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • Experience in the Singapore finance sector is preferred.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
