Warehouse Assistant Job Description

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to receive, store, and dispatch goods efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming goods, verify quantities, and inspect for damages or discrepancies. Report any issues to your supervisor promptly.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Pick, pack, and label items accurately based on customer orders.
  • Prepare goods for delivery and organize them according to schedules.
  • Assist in planning drivers' schedules and coordinating delivery routes.
  • Communicate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Order stock as needed to fulfill customer orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Load and unload goods onto/from delivery vans as required.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • GCE 'N' / 'O' Levels or equivalent.
  • Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
